The hourly rate of pay does not include multiple wage/salary enhancements which significantly increase the average rate of pay! Additional compensation for shift differential, shift briefing, staff meetings, OT and holiday pay.
Wage/salary enhancements and holiday pay add approximately $2.
50/hour on average to the hourly rate of pay over the course of a full year.
This number increases with each year of experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Inmate supervision; inmate transports; searches; well-being checks; booking and release of inmates; meal delivery; medication delivery; security system monitoring and numerous inventories/counts.
Minimum
Qualifications:
1.
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
2.
Have a valid driver's license and active automobile insurance coverage.
3.
Successful completion & acceptable results of the required criminal history background check, pre-employment drug screening and all other testing and/or background investigation work required for the position.
Training provided in the use of:
Taser; Pepper Spray; Defensive Tactics; Report Writing; Restraint Chair / Devices; Emergency Procedures; Communication Skills; Inmate Transports; and many other topics.
